Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Trade Specialist. This individual will be responsible for performing Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products for import and export.

  • Perform comprehensive classification analysis to accurately determine HTS and ECCN codes for import and export purposes.
  • Assist in data collection, record-keeping, and compliance activities.
  • Support training and audit initiatives to ensure adherence to international trade regulations.
  • Analyze and generate reports to track compliance performance.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of trade-related issues and recommend solutions to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customs inquiries related to product classifications.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced technology and processes involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Solar cell manufacturing (SEMI, Nanomanufacturing).
  • Familiarity with import and/or export trade compliance elements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, special trade program requirements, etc.
  • Able to utilize various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations to conduct accurate classification analysis.
