Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Translator to join our team. As a Data Translator, you will be responsible for converting high-level documents from the source language to the target language, while maintaining the style and tone of the original language.

Your primary duties will include collecting financial information through research, addressing client queries accurately and comprehensively, and providing quality assurance of translated materials.

You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining language glossaries, dictionaries, and translation memories, as well as staying up-to-date with updated translation and research guidelines and policies.

In addition, you will participate in developing and executing projects, including expanding market information and additional data coverage, and collaborating with other data sets and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency or native competency in Portuguese and English;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a translator;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese;
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Financial subject matter, concepts, and terms;
  • Good analytical skills to conduct thorough objective research;
  • Ability to interact with various levels and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner;
  • Must have the ability to work in a team as well as independently;
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver regarding work deadlines, service level agreements, and targets set;
  • Must have an inquisitive and investigative nature, and be proactive, highly motivated and have a positive attitude.
