The role of a Japanese Expert is to provide high-quality translations and localization services.

  • Translate documents from Japanese to English while maintaining the original tone and style.
  • Gather financial information through research and ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely responses to internal and external clients.
  • Provide quality assurance for translated materials and create language glossaries, dictionaries, and translation memories.
  • Deliver results with quality and excellence, staying up-to-date on translation and research guidelines.
  • Report daily work performed and participate in developing and executing projects as assigned.
  • Participate in testing new tools and applications to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English, with other languages being an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a translator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial subject matter, concepts, and terms.
  • Analytical skills to conduct thorough objective research and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with various levels and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.

Preferred qualifications include language proficiency certification, experience in translation and localization projects, knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA Macro.
