This role involves working closely with discerning inbound clients possessing a net worth of ₹50 lakhs and above. As a Strategic Portfolio Manager, your primary responsibility will be to educate clients about Dezerv's Portfolio Management Service in Mutual Funds, guiding them towards making informed investment choices, and converting them into Dezerv clients.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in pre-scheduled video meetings with potential clients to review their portfolio holdings and provide expert suggestions on portfolio alignment (portfolio size of ₹50L & above)
  • Converting high-intent inbound clients into investors in our portfolio products
  • Maintaining good knowledge of the overall markets and utilizing that expertise in conversations with clients
  • Evaluating customer requirements and asset distribution, actively initiating communication to confirm a thorough comprehension of their financial needs and future wealth management objectives
  • Showcasing Dezerv's portfolio management approach, including fund selection, investment strategies, risk management, and guiding clients on future investments
  • Maintaining good relationships with existing clients for further investments in different products offered by Dezerv

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to articulate complex topics seamlessly to clients
  • High ownership and strong stakeholder management skills (both internal and external)
  • Thorough knowledge of financial products like mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and portfolio management services
  • High ownership on performance
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel
  • Prior experience preferred in sales, financial services, or banking

In terms of education and certifications, we seek candidates with:

  • MBA in Finance
  • CA or CFA certification is preferred
  • NISM VA and XXIA certificates (required within 30 days of joining)

You will work closely with our leadership team, including Sandeep Jethwani, Co-Founder; Sahil Contractor, Co-Founder; Vaibhav Porwal, Co-Founder; Chirag Gandhi, Head of Business; and Jigme Bhutia, Head of Digital Acquisition Business.
