PMS Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PMS Analyst to play a key role in our organization. As a core member of our team, you will analyze various aspects of our PMS system and other modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze PMS data from user manuals and exported data from other ERP systems, preparing documents as needed.
  2. Document client requirements accurately.
  3. Analyze gaps between user needs and Jibe features, providing input to the development team.
  4. Test and check functional aspects of modules developed by Jibe, producing desired reports and outcomes.
  5. Contribute to training internal and external users on PMS and related modules.
  6. Create software-related documents, such as feature documents, help documents, FAQs, and workflow documents.

Ship Visit and Other Responsibilities:

  1. Visit vessels for Jibe implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes.
  2. Assist with data collection and update of PMS data onboard.
  3. Train shipboard personnel on using Jibe and other modules, including database backup and system recovery.
  4. Provide support to vessels and remote offices for Jibe and related modules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A 3rd or 4th engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A shore experience in a shipping management company as a PMS coordinator/controller with an educational background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent typing and analyzing skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
