About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to spearhead our data engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing and storage.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of data quality and performance by leveraging your expertise in data engineering, architecture, pipeline creation and big data technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs, while monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and workflows to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Engineering: Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing and storage.
  2. Data Architecture: Build and optimize data architectures and data models for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  3. ETL Processes: Develop ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
  4. Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity, quality and security across all data systems.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise: Expertise in data integration, processing and storage, as well as data optimization architecture, data process and data flow.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala), experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of employees and management.
