Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality data systems that meet the needs of our clients.

You will work independently to develop and deliver features and tasks to a high standard, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend and data engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data architectures
  • Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
  • Collaborating with data scientists to implement data-driven solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting
  • Experience building cloud-native data-intensive applications, with Amazon Web Service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in architecting and implementing workflow management systems
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Spark applications
