Data Architect - Distributed Systems

As a highly skilled Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data systems that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of distributed computing architectures to design and implement efficient data processing pipelines.
  • Environment Operations: Ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime by monitoring, operating, and triaging all aspects of production and non-production environments.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Automate deployment and orchestration of services into cloud environments such as AWS and GCP to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Cloud Environment Mastery: Design and implement scalable data systems that meet business requirements by working on multiple cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate actively in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises with partner teams, encompassing Engineering, QA, and program management.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot customer concerns for ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray to guarantee high-quality results.
  • API Development: Design and implement RESTful/RPC APIs and services using Golang or Python to provide seamless integration with our data systems.
  • SLO/SLI and Error Budget Reporting: Implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budget reporting to ensure accountability and transparency.
