Job Role: Quality Assurance Engineer
">We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our product meets the highest standards of quality across design, development, and delivery.
">You will work closely with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to embed quality into every stage of the lifecycle. This includes exploratory and regression testing, automation and performance testing, functional and non-functional testing.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Participate in feature design, story refinement, and risk assessment from the outset.
- Review and contribute to user stories, acceptance criteria, and BDD scenarios.
- Conduct a wide range of testing: exploratory, regression, security, cross-browser, accessibility, and API testing.
- Raise clear and concise defects, providing actionable reporting.
- Support release cycles through smoke testing and stakeholder demos.
- Contribute to test automation strategies using tools like Cucumber and Cypress.
- Continuously improve QA processes and champion quality best practices.
Requirements:
">- Proven experience in web and API testing.
- Strong background in exploratory testing with clear reporting skills.
- Familiarity with agile practices like BDD, TDD, Three Amigos, Example/Event Mapping.
- Knowledge of UX, UI, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Zephyr, Postman/Insomnia, BrowserStack, and browser debugging tools.
