Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our data products.

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT and at least 4+ years' experience in cloud computing is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test case preparation and execution, defect life cycle management, and identification and test data preparation techniques is necessary.
  • Experience with Azure Data Bricks/Pyspark and Azure Data Factory is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of various testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies is also required.
  • Leading a test team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery is an essential part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of data products to identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure complete coverage of product features.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and implement changes to improve product quality.
  • Identify and prioritize areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in IT and at least 4+ years' experience in cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including test case preparation and execution, defect life cycle management, and identification and test data preparation techniques.
