Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Fashion Communications Strategist to spearhead communications and media initiatives for fashion and lifestyle clients.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive network within the fashion media landscape and a profound understanding of the industry's trends, tone, and audience.

This role involves leading high-impact campaigns that elevate our clients' presence across editorial, influencer, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Media Outreach & Thought Leadership:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with fashion editors, stylists, influencers, and journalists; pitch trend-relevant stories; secure impactful media placements in fashion and lifestyle publications.
  • Campaign Strategy: Design and lead integrated PR campaigns that reflect each brand's aesthetic, positioning, and seasonal focus (e.g., launches, shows, collaborations).
    • Event Management & Brand Showcases: Manage press previews, fashion events, pop-ups, and brand activations; ensure strong media turnout and post-event coverage.
  • Crisis Communication: Handle sensitive brand issues such as product recalls, backlash, or influencer controversies with timely and strategic messaging.
    • Content Creation: Craft compelling press releases, lookbooks, fashion bios, and seasonal trend pitches tailored for media.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between clients, designers, influencers, stylists, and fashion journalists.
    • Executive Support: Assist fashion founders and brand leaders with media training, key message development, and interviews.
  • Team Leadership: Guide a team of fashion PR executives, encouraging creativity, strong execution, and industry insight.
    • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Measure campaign effectiveness through media impressions, sentiment analysis, and ROI.
  • Brand Positioning: Position clients as trendsetters through storytelling, collaborations, and strategic brand alignment.
