Job Title: Automation Governance SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation Governance Specialist to design and implement a governance and automation platform that enforces best practices across our organization.
  • Our current processes rely heavily on manual compliance, which is slow and inefficient.
  • A system was initiated earlier this year to codify rules into automated code checks, but it's approximately 80% complete.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a framework similar to a testing suite to validate code and practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers to enable them to write custom compliance checks.
  • Finish incomplete rule sets and implement global metrics tracking frameworks for practice adoption.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, emphasizing testing frameworks and automation.
  • Experience integrating with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in backend development with databases (SQL), automation, and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with governance/standards implementation across large organizations.
