Role Summary:

This position is responsible for leading a joint initiative that aims to enhance the employability of returning graduates in India.

The role involves designing and delivering projects to improve graduate career outcomes, implementing a structured entrepreneurship program, and managing stakeholders to build key relationships and raise the in-country profile through effective employer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of designing and delivering careers and employability interventions, as well as cross-cultural business transactions experience and market development and relationship management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver projects to improve graduate career outcomes
  • Implement a structured entrepreneurship program for students during their time in the UK and transition to graduation
  • Manage stakeholders and develop strategies for positive relationships with employers, multipliers, government, careers partners, and alumni in India
  • Gather and interpret data on graduate outcomes, labour market research, and trends
  • Develop opportunities for graduates to access employer networks, including partnerships and events
  • Liaise with student recruitment teams, represent universities at events, and prepare materials for recruitment
  • Represent the University on professional groups, forums, and committees
  • Monitor provision effectiveness and inform planning and practice
