Opcenter Core Expert Job DescriptionJob Overview

The Opcenter Core Expert plays a crucial role in the plan, design, configuration, development, and testing of the Opcenter application. This position works closely with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of the application.

This role is responsible for planning, designing, configuring, implementing, developing, and maintaining Siemens Opcenter Core applications to meet the company's operations needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, design, configure, implement, develop and maintain Siemens Opcenter Core application to meet the needs of the company's operations.
  2. Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  3. Install and configure Opcenter Core high availability.
  4. Support the operations team to test and accept new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  5. Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on the business.
  6. Monitor the Opcenter Core application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  7. Maintain documentation for the key applications.
  8. Follow industry leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core.
  9. Collaborate with global IT team for Opcenter MES projects and support activities.
  10. Train junior or new members of the team and users as required.
  11. Support analytics.
