Business Valuation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Valuation Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for valuing businesses and their interests, as well as intangible assets.

This involves analyzing historical financial results of target companies to identify business trends and risks. You will also be expected to construct and review valuation models, and assist in the design and preparation of valuation reports.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Valuation of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes;
  • Estate and gift tax analysis for tax and financial reporting purposes;
  • Analysis of financial models, including common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis;
  • Construction and review of valuation models;
  • Assistance with the design and preparation of valuation reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree and/or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA would be preferable;
  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment;
  • A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
