Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to design, develop, and implement automated systems that enhance efficiency, productivity, and reliability. The ideal candidate will work with control systems, robotics, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial equipment to automate processes in manufacturing and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems to streamline business operations and improve efficiency.
  • Program, configure, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems.
  • Develop automation workflows, scripts, and test plans for production environments.
  • Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Integrate sensors, robotics, vision systems, and other industrial equipment with automation systems.
  • Document designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Omron.
  • Experience with SCADA and HMI development and integration.
  • Familiarity with robotics, sensors, pneumatics, and motion control systems.
  • Proficiency in industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet IP, and OPC.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance, including ISO and OSHA.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
