Job Overview

Procurement Manager Role:

A seasoned professional in strategic sourcing, responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

Lead a team of purchasing professionals to optimize procurement processes, achieve cost savings, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Utilize negotiation skills to secure best pricing and services from vendors while maintaining compliance with legal and environmental standards.

Manage inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste and obsolescence.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor relationships, streamline procurement processes, and monitor costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Optimize procurement, inventory, and sourcing processes for cost savings and efficiency
  • Negotiate with existing and new vendors for best pricing and quality
  • Finalize L1/L2 vendors, execute agreements, and maintain vendor trackers with cost-benefit analysis
  • Ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards
  • Manage inventory to meet production demands while minimizing waste and obsolescence
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 13–17 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and supplier management processes
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
