Job Title: Software Engineer III

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications, automating BDD scenarios, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications using modern C++ standards (C++ 11 and above)
  • Automate BDD scenarios using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin, and Test-First mindset
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
  • Participate in agile development teams, implementing user stories with automated testing
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related area, or equivalent industry experience
  • 6+ years of C++ experience on Windows environment
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience producing technical designs for software applications
  • Must exhibit good judgment in decision making
  • Able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Test automation experience using unit testing frameworks like Google Test, cppUnit, etc.
Good to Have:
  • Java, .NET
  • Preferred retail experience, especially in Convenience Store industry and Point of Sale systems
  • Cloud development experience
The Day-to-Day:

As a software engineer, you will work under the supervision of an engineering manager and participate in various projects and activities such as:

  • Designing and developing software applications
  • Automating BDD scenarios
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
  • Providing feedback to peer performance reviews
