Job Title: Construction Project Supervisor

Overview: A skilled Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising construction projects on-site. They work closely with the project team, subcontractors, and construction workers to ensure that the project progresses efficiently, meets quality and safety standards, and adheres to project plans and schedules.

  • Project Execution: Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work on-site to ensure quality and safety standards are met, as well as any regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure work environment for all personnel on the construction site. Develop and maintain accurate safety records.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to allocate resources efficiently. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets effectively.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance, resolve engineering issues, and make decisions related to construction methods, materials, and techniques. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Site Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and change orders. Use technology to streamline documentation processes.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve unexpected issues that may arise during construction, offering practical solutions to keep the project on track. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Client Communication: Keep clients informed about project progress, address their concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in construction management.
  • Proficiency in construction management and industry regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of industry software and technology.
