  • SAP Financial Consultant

Job Description:

As a skilled SAP financial consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert-level services to manufacturing enterprises. This role involves configuring and optimizing SAP FI system settings, including chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.

You will utilize your expertise in financial transaction processing, including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing. Your proficiency with SAP transaction codes related to FI, such as FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, FBL5N, is also essential.

Additionally, you will work with integration of SAP FI with other modules like MM, SD, and CO. Your knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics, including generating financial statements and audit reports, is also required.

You must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors. Understanding of SAP financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities, is necessary.

Familiarity with SAP data migration tools, such as LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs used in FI data transfers, is also required. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, such as IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws relevant to FI configuration, is essential.

Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance features as FI evolves on the HANA platform is also needed. Strong knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 financial support focused on manufacturing is required.

Expertise in production costing, material ledger, product costing, and internal orders in manufacturing is necessary. Familiarity with SAP best practices and frameworks applicable to manufacturing finance is also required.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally are essential. Experience with SAP certification, Fiori, and SAP Activate methodology is a plus.

Requirements:

This position requires seasoned SAP FICO professionals with robust manufacturing domain expertise and technical experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Candidates must be capable of driving financial transformation in manufacturing enterprises.

Strong communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams are necessary.

Problem-solving capability to quickly diagnose and fix FI functional issues is required.

Ability to document functional specs, configuration details, and user manuals is necessary.

Team collaboration and leadership for project coordination and mentoring are also required.
