Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication activities across multiple units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fabrication strategies, quality standards, and project timelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.).
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively.
  • Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team for performance enhancement.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance, if applicable.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication (as relevant).
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
