Role Overview

The Financial Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting back-office and middle-office processes for financial institutions. Key areas include client/product lifecycle management, reference data support, legal documentation, trade reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and escalate risks, promptly notify clients of outstanding issues.
  2. Perform various trade support activities across the trade lifecycle, including trade confirmation matching, pre-settlements support, front-office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions, report generation, and settlements of cash flows from trading events.
  3. Manage operations of syndicated loans and corporate actions setup and operations.
  4. Oversee other capital market operational tasks beyond trade lifecycle support, including reference data support and regulatory reporting.
  5. Master various financial products, including equity securities, derivatives, interest rates swaps, FX spot, options, futures, credit derivatives swaps, commodities derivatives, and fixed income products.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in investment banking operations involving projects, people, process, and client management.
  • Basic knowledge of finance, trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
  • Strong logical and quantitative abilities to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and time management.
