Senior Data Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Strategist to lead data-driven projects and design cutting-edge data pipelines.

With a strong background in data architecture, models, and leading data driven projects, you will have the opportunity to participate in the design and development of features in our existing Data Warehouse.

As a seasoned professional, you will provide leadership in establishing connections between Engineering, Product, and Analytics/ Data Scientists teams.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and updating existing/new batch ETL pipelines, defining and implementing data architecture, and partnering with engineers and data analysts to build reliable datasets.

You will work with various data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, and others.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about their job, enjoys a fast-paced international working environment, and has a strong understanding of data architecture, models, and leading data driven projects.

  • Strong expertise in data modelling paradigms such as Kimball, Inmon, Data Marts, Data Vault, Medallion etc.
  • Experience with Cloud Based data strategies and big data technologies - AWS Preferred.
  • Expertise in designing data pipelines for ETL with expert knowledge on ingestion, transformation, and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, PostgreSQL development, query optimization, and designing indexes.
  • Ability to use advanced SQL concepts and apply statistical concepts through SQL.
  • Experience with PostGres SQL extensions like PostGIS, writing ETL pipelines combining Python + SQL, and understanding data manipulation libraries in Python like Pandas, Polars, DuckDB.
  • Desirable skills include experience in designing Data visualization with different tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
