Job Title: Senior Financial Business Partner

The role of the Senior Financial Business Partner is to provide strategic financial support to a business unit, driving efficiency and effectiveness in its operations. This involves leading advanced financial analysis, preparing key financial reports, and implementing financial controls.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual operating plan exercise and collaborate with management to develop a comprehensive AOP construct.
  • Drive productivity improvement initiatives and monitor progress through regular tracking and analysis.
  • Analyse revenue and cost lines to inform pricing and trade margin decisions, as well as ROI and cost management strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective working capital management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory accounting policies and internal audit recommendations.
  • Prepare and present monthly unit financial results to management, including detailed cause-of-change analysis versus plan.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights into unit performance and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key financial drivers and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Implement best practices in financial transaction processing and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.

Supply Chain Management

  • Optimise inventory carrying costs, enhance purchase efficiency, and ensure raw material availability through active coordination with purchasing teams.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain systems, leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
  • Execute supply chain activities across demand planning, inventory management, shipping, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Maintain high on-time delivery rates and ensure accurate sales forecasting.

People Management

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Lead performance management processes to drive growth and development within the team.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment, diversity, and inclusivity, promoting a positive work environment.
