Job Summary

The Head of Corporate Affairs will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate affairs strategies, programs, and policies to enhance the company's image and brand in line with its mission and vision.

This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for favorable policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing corporate affairs strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Advocating for favorable policies and regulations that support the growth and development of the Cement Industry.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and clearances for Mining Operations and setting up a Cement plant.
  • Managing the company's public image and reputation through effective communication and media relations.
  • Developing and implementing crisis management plans to address potential issues and mitigate risks.
  • Overseeing the company's CSR initiatives and ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
  • Fostering effective internal communication to ensure alignment and engagement among team members.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree in Law is preferred.
  • At least 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the Mining and Cement Industries.
  • Strong understanding of the Cement sector and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in crisis management and public relations.
  • High level of integrity and ethical judgment.
