Database Administrator

A highly skilled Database Administrator is required to design, implement, and manage large-scale Oracle RDBMS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database administration, cloud migration experience, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This includes:

  • Designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Managing Oracle databases on OCI
  • Leading and supporting end-to-end cloud migration initiatives
Responsibilities

The Database Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Designing, documenting, and monitoring database servers
  • Developing standards and procedures for maintenance and modification of database platforms
  • Providing systems architecture guidance in creating high availability systems
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 8 years of production database support experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems

You should also have a strong understanding of:

  • Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure
  • Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
  • Cloud migration strategies
