Job Title: Livelihood Program Manager

Job Description:

The Livelihood Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of livelihood programs, ensuring that they are delivered within timelines and budgets. This includes developing detailed implementation plans, coordinating with project teams, and identifying operational challenges.

The manager will also be responsible for establishing partnerships with government bodies, private sector actors, and technical institutions to support capacity building, technical, and enterprise support.

In addition, the manager will collaborate with government departments, including state urban/rural livelihood missions, to establish institutional linkages at the district level.

The role requires strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu
