Software Development Expert

The primary role of this position is to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality software applications that meet the required specifications and standards. This includes owning software delivery tasks, such as code development, testing, and deployment at an application or software component level.

  • Develop and deliver software solutions that meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and goals.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  • Ensure that software applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the team's decision-making process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in three or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, SQL).
  • Familiarity with secure coding standards and practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud-first software development.
  • Understanding of standard branching models (e.g., Gitflow) and peer review practices.
  • Ability to write secure code and apply tools to scan and measure code quality.
  • Understanding of basic design patterns and requirement analysis.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
  • Understanding of functional and non-functional testing types.
