Research and Development Associate

We are seeking a talented Research and Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and process optimization through research, product development, testing, analysis, and communication of findings.

This role requires a unique blend of skills, including data analysis, market research, hospitality operations knowledge, project management, and creativity balanced with business acumen.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting market and trend analysis, developing new concepts, sustainability projects, technology integration, guest experience testing, and operational efficiency improvements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, design, and culinary, to roll out new initiatives and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market and trend analysis to inform product/service innovations.
  • Concept Development: Assist in creating new F&B concepts, wellness programs, room designs, or technology integrations aligned with brand positioning.
  • Sustainability Projects: Research eco-friendly solutions to improve brand reputation and meet compliance requirements.
  • Technology Integration: Pilot digital tools and gather data on ROI.
  • Guest Experience Testing: Conduct focus groups, prototype testing, and gather guest/employee feedback for continuous refinement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and test innovations to reduce cost-per-occupied-room (CPOR), streamline housekeeping, or optimize procurement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, marketing, design, and culinary teams to roll out new initiatives.
