About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Tester to execute our software products with high-quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python and relevant testing frameworks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Designing and implementing effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Analyzing and reporting defects found during testing, providing detailed information for developers to resolve issues

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
