Job Title: Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for Murex modules.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying and reporting defects in a timely manner.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and support, to understand requirements and validate system behavior.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Work closely with Murex business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Defect tracking, logging, and retesting in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates and test progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Murex automation Tools.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
