About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Leader to join our team at Biocon Biologics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an ERM framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across various business processes.
  • Develop risk models for strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks, ensuring that mitigations are effectively designed to address potential threats.
  • Analyze current risks and identify potential risks that may have significant effects on our company, both internally and externally.
  • Establish risk appetites at all levels based on our organization's ability and willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers for entities and production facilities across markets.
  • Facilitate the identification of risks using risk analytics with appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Implement and deploy digital risk management tools and technologies.
  • Provide risk reporting tailored to relevant audiences at all levels, educating management about significant risks to the business, ensuring business heads understand risks affecting their departments, and individuals understanding their accountability for individual risks.
  • Monitor implementation of action plans to ensure risk mitigation efforts proceed as required.
  • Liaise with department and business heads on the adequacy of proposed actions in managing risk areas, highlighted in internal audit reports.
  • Conduct risk management audits across jurisdictions.
  • Establish and maintain a risk management philosophy and culture within our organization.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining an overall risk management framework for Life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, and/or manufacturing organizations. A thorough knowledge of Risk Management concepts and practices is essential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge in designing Internal controls frameworks (COSO).
  • MBA/PG Diploma in Finance/Risk Management or CA or CIA or CRMA.
  • Other relevant certifications in Enterprise Risk Management (preferable).

Additional Skills:

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability to understand broader business issues.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI, SAP, GRC tools experience preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
