Job Overview

The role of Senior Web Developer involves leading a team of skilled developers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and Developing Web Applications: Utilize strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create responsive, interactive, and user-friendly web experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery of high-quality products.
  • Code Review and Optimization: Perform peer code reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations to enhance performance, readability, and maintainability.
  • API Integration and Management: Develop and implement RESTful APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth data exchange.
  • Performance Tuning and Debugging: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to mitigate and address them, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong Proficiency in Programming Languages: PHP, Python, JavaScript (ES6+), and knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with Frontend Frameworks: CodeIgniter, familiarity with both legacy and modern versions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technology trends, advocate for best engineering practices, and contribute to maintaining technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
