Senior WordPress Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development best practices, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications
  • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixes
Key Responsibilities:

The Senior WordPress Developer will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  1. Designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  3. Conducting thorough quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
  4. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins
  • Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Hubspot CMS experience
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with custom coding in WordPress, including developing custom functionality, hooks, and filters
