Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Lead Infrastructure Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a group of engineers technically.

Your primary focus will be on providing consultancy and solutions to customers across various product stacks.

You will drive technical discussions and facilitate stand-ups for key deliverables, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

A significant aspect of this role is identifying areas of inefficiency, also known as toil, and developing automated solutions that minimize effort.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues at level 3, covering all listed technologies.

Our ideal candidate has experience with AWS Cloud and hands-on expertise with DevOps and pipeline management using Github actions.

Prior experience with Python programming is essential, along with a solid understanding of different file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPs, SFTP, S3 & Connect:Direct.

Awareness of end-to-end transfer architecture, including DMZ and basic knowledge of load-balancers and firewalls, is necessary.

You will plan, coordinate, and implement patch/upgrade of FTP software to the latest required level.

Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing OS & DB maintenance activities.

Certificate management involving CSR generation, issuance, implementation, and validation will also be part of your duties.

You will work on service requests and user fulfillment related to provisioning, deployments, assistance, etc.

Providing on-call support for priority issues is a crucial aspect of this role.

Familiarity with security guidelines and the ability to fix vulnerabilities are essential.

Experience with disaster recovery and knowledge of audit requirements and how to fulfill them are necessary.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering is required.
  • Mandatory skills include experience with AWS, MFT tools or GoAnywhere.
  • Essential technologies are Managed File Transfer (MFT) using GoAnywhere, AWS, Python, FTP, FTPs, SFTP, S3 & Connect:Direct.
  • Sound knowledge of different file transfer protocols is necessary.
  • Awareness of end-to-end transfer architecture is required.
