Process Engineer Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time and enhance product quality.

About the Role:

  • Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to meet or exceed targets.
  • Implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in process engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
