UX Researcher

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and conduct research studies (e.g., usability testing, card sort, tree testing) to build user understanding and empathy.
  2. Help cross-functional teams by synthesizing and communicating research findings.
  3. Create testable hypotheses and use research to support and innovate Cvent's product.
  4. Apply research methodologies and human factors to product design in an iterative environment.
  5. Work with designers, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to address research questions.
  6. Independently plan, execute, and analyze research studies.
  7. Perform qualitative data analysis and support ongoing coding efforts.
  8. Support survey design and statistical analysis.
  9. Conduct secondary research and comparative analysis.
  10. Evolving the User Research practice within a small team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, Design, Research, Business, or related fields.
  • 4-19 years of conducting user research in a UX team for software/web-based products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience in hospitality industry and enterprise software development (a plus).
