Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Director leads the quality control function to ensure that products meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and safety requirements.

This role oversees quality assurance and control processes, from raw materials to finished goods, while driving continuous improvement in production and safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Oversee regular audits, inspections, and testing processes across all production stages.
  • Supervise the quality control team to monitor and evaluate the production process, ensuring consistency and safety.
  • Develop protocols for raw material inspection, in-process control, and finished product testing.
  • Address any quality deviations or non-conformities swiftly and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain certifications and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all quality control processes and procedures for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and process efficiency.
  • Work closely with R&D, production, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues and innovate solutions.
  • Lead quality training programs for staff to maintain high standards and awareness.
  • Manage and mentor the quality control team, ensuring proper resource allocation and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
