Senior Risk Analytics Consultant

About this role:

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliver insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting.

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and documentation in alignment with policy governance.
  • Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve data quality issues and controls, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals.
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Partner with cross-enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.
Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Knowledge of Market and Counterparty risk within banking domain.
  • Knowledge and understanding of market and counterparty risk management.
  • Must have strong SQL and Python skill set.
Key Skills

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL queries, Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, and Advanced Python including tkinter, Exception handling, Multiprocessing.

  • SQL queries to create data sets required for dashboards, experience in writing complex SQL queries using multiple joins, sub-query, and analytical functions is a must.
  • Python including libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib and Advanced Python including tkinter, Exception handling, Multiprocessing.
  • Excel Formulas (basic is a must, intermediate/advanced good to have).
