Job Title:

Data Analytics Expert

We are looking for individuals who can effectively collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify business challenges that can be addressed with analytics. You will have the opportunity to communicate complex concepts in a clear and actionable manner, develop features for fraud and scam detection models, and mentor junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Data Scientists and rule writers to leverage advanced analytics techniques for improved fraud detection.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends, driving informed decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimise fraud detection processes.
  • Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
Essential Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Advanced programming skills (Python, SQL).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Tertiary qualification in numerate disciplines such as Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Computing Science.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology.
