Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to support advanced analytics initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end analytics projects, including data wrangling, model development, validation, and deployment.

Candidates will collaborate with scientific and operational teams to identify opportunities for data science applications in drug discovery, development, and manufacturing. They will interact with domain experts and clients to understand data, business challenges, and implement robust, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will design and implement machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data visualizations to solve real-world problems. They will develop predictive models for reaction outcomes, process optimization, and quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MS/MTech in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and knowledge of statistical, machine learning algorithms, and applications
  • Expertise in the use of Python for machine learning and complex data analysis
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of FAIR data principles and data governance in scientific environments
