Job Title: Advanced Analytics Specialist

About the Role

Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Analytics Specialist to join their Finance Global Business Services (GBS) team in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced analytics models using machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor model performance, making adjustments and updates as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Writing clean, maintainable code in Python or R using appropriate integrated development environments (IDEs).
  • Leveraging Databricks and Snowflake platforms to manage pharma big datasets.
  • Applying best practices in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for model deployment.
  • Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing with peers to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Using Power BI interactive dashboards to effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
  • Preparing presentations to drive critical business meetings, showcasing a thorough understanding of market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant data science certification from a reputable institution is an asset.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in advanced analytics.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, with at least 2-3 successful deployments in a professional setting.
