Job Title: Software Engineer - Cloud Architecture

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to the design and development of our cloud-based systems. As a back-end developer, you will be responsible for developing, debugging, and building automated tests for multiple programming assignments.

You will collaborate with product owners, software architects, and other software engineers to turn high-level requirements into product enhancements delivered incrementally to customers. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements that increase team effectiveness in responding to customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java Development along with good problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in AWS technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of production level Java development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java Development along with good problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (or other cloud provider's) technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink.
  • Experience working on Spring/Spring-Boot Framework.
  • Experience using Terraform to build infrastructure as code.
  • Experience building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including calling other REST services from within a REST service.
  • Skill and experience using design patterns.
  • Experience in building, running, and monitoring SaaS applications at large scale.
  • Experience with multi-repo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks such as Blazemeter, shell scripts, automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
