Cloud Data Architect Position

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Data Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based data infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing principles, data governance, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Experience with Azure cloud services and data management frameworks is highly desirable.

This is a full-time position offering flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based data architectures that meet business needs and comply with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data management strategies.
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and governance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data systems, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in cloud technologies, data management, and industry best practices to inform and improve solutions.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in cloud computing, big data technologies, and data governance.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Azure certification (AZ-104 / AZ-305 / AZ-204) and DevOps experience are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
