Job Description:

The IT Security Governance Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the organization's security governance programs.

Ensuring that security policies, processes, and controls align with business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is key to this position.

Collaboration with stakeholders across IT, legal, audit, and business units is essential for assessing risks and driving a culture of information security.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establishing governance frameworks to ensure security controls align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement of the organization's security governance program.
  • Leading the IT risk management program, including risk identification, assessment, treatment, and reporting.
  • Managing IT compliance initiatives, including regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing internal and external IT security audits, assessments, and certifications.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or IT audit, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise risk management or compliance programs.
