Secure Your Future as a Cybersecurity Leader

Cvent seeks an experienced cybersecurity leader to support regional teams in executing information security programs.

This senior leadership position will oversee day-to-day operations of Cvent's India Information Security team. Key responsibilities include supporting global strategic leadership, team management and oversight, application and cloud security, security operations, compliance and risk management, security assurance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with global information security leaders and peers to maintain and implement comprehensive information security strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Team Management and Oversight: Lead and mentor the Cvent India Information Security team, ensuring alignment and operational consistency between the global information security team and the Cvent India Information Security team.
  • Application and Cloud Security: Provide oversight and executive-level support for adoption of security best practices in software development and cloud security.
  • Security Operations: Provide technical oversight and executive-level support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for Cvent's global SaaS platform and corporate computing resources.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Provide oversight and executive-level support for activities to achieve and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to Cvent's global SaaS operations.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in information security, including at least 8 years in an information security leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices is required. The candidate should also have solid understanding of security risk management methodologies and compliance frameworks, including familiarity with relevant global data privacy and protection laws and regulations relevant to SaaS platforms and operations.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to align security initiatives with business objectives.
