Audio Processing Innovation Lead

Our organization is seeking a skilled Audio Processing Innovation Lead to design and develop AI-based audio/speech processing algorithms and solution software that meets consumer needs.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop AI-based audio/speech processing algorithms and solution software that meets consumer needs
  • Optimize AI solutions on proprietary hardware, develop performance evaluation measures and evaluate
  • Explore areas to apply machine learning in audio and speech, develop measures on collecting data used for model learning and evaluation
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strong knowledge in audio/speech processing and ML/DL concepts
  2. Hands-on experience in designing and developing DNN models using ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
  3. Good understanding in data creation, analysis, visualizations
  4. Good mathematical background and understanding of various concepts: probability, statistics, back-propagation, loss functions
  5. Strong in algorithm design and development
  6. Strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills
  7. Knowledge of version control systems (P4, Git)
  8. Programming skills: C/C++, Python
  9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to signal processing concepts
  • Exposure to Dolby and DTS audio algorithms (surround sound, 3D audio etc.)
Requirements:
  • Minimum skills as mentioned above
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in research and development
