Job Opportunity: Audio Signal Flow Engineer

  We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to develop software products for the automotive industry. As an audio signal flow engineer, you will work on designing and optimizing complex systems that integrate DSP algorithms with audio frameworks.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize and integrate audio DSP algorithms for the automotive environment within complex, multi-threaded architectures and audio frameworks.
  • Port DSP algorithms to various processors/platforms and make use of available resources, peripherals, accelerators, compiler features, etc.
  • Design and define audio signal flows and software architectures using SW platform components.
  • Develop production-ready software following a defined software development process.
  • Estimate processing resources including MIPS, ROM, and RAM and optimize individual algorithms and total system performance.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of embedded software development experience.
  • 3+ years of C++/C or other structured language experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in the DSP and preferably in the audio field.
  • Deep knowledge of filtering, audio processing/post-processing, noise control algorithms in both time and frequency domains.
  • Strong understanding of DSP frameworks and how individual DSP algorithms interface and interact with each other, the control software, and tool interfaces in an optimized way.
  • Experience with digital communication protocols in multiprocessor environments: I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, A2B.
