Medical Officer Position

About this Role:

Our medical facility is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare department, you will be responsible for providing round-the-clock medical coverage and patient care within the hospital unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients' conditions, conduct daily rounds, and document progress in medical records.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, code situations, and critical care needs.
  • Assist consultants and specialists in diagnosis, treatment procedures, and minor interventions.
  • Prescribe medications and order investigations as per institutional protocols and consultant guidance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of case notes, treatments, and discharge summaries.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedics, and administrative teams for effective patient care.
  • Communicate regularly with patients and their families regarding treatment updates and care plans.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in audits, case discussions, and continuous medical education programs as required.

Requirements:

  • MBBS qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
