Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Team Lead to lead our team of data analysts.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis and Visualization: The Data Analytics Team Lead will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting, and ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency of analytics outputs.
  2. Team Leadership and Collaboration: The Data Analytics Team Lead will supervise and mentor a team of Data Analysts, assign work, review outputs, and provide technical guidance. They will also ensure timely delivery of reporting requirements by managing team workload and capacity, promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and data governance, and collaborate with other Analytics Leads and the Head of Data & Analytics for cross-functional initiatives.
  3. Business Engagement and Coordination: The Data Analytics Team Lead will act as the primary liaison between assigned business functions and the Data & Analytics team, understanding business objectives and translating them into actionable data requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Must Have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a team or project lead capacity, strong hands-on experience in Power BI development (including DAX, data modelling, performance tuning), proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation, solid understanding of data structures, ETL concepts, and business process mapping, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proven ability to lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment, strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, strong understanding of data visualization concepts.
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), familiarity with data warehouse concepts, exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems is preferred, Power BI certifications are a plus, hands-on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus, knowledge of data governance, data quality, or data security practices is a plus.
